I will make a short (max 2 min.) version, that is really fast, full of energy and interesting.
BUT it is very important that everybody speaks in short sentences, in order to be able to cut fast between the people - so NO MONOLOGUES!

Testimonial - Trailer
In my opinion
but we have been discussing the topic with Henriette and Jacob.
The funders time is valueable
We would like to propose a really short and coming to the point version of a film, which is showing all of us. To be able to show it in the net and to hand it out to possible sponsors on dvd.
We are speaking about future
What I think would really be helpful is, if we would do the testimonial clip not to much about history but about us and the future.
Two reasons
- we do have material about former workshops including making of, telling how good and nice the workshops have been
- we don't have something foreward looking (the bet on the future)
(and a point of the funder could be, if you have had such nice meetings, why the hell do you want to do it again, if you would do something else! we could think to think about it.)
Our ideas
showing 1-2 people in a sourrounding, which she or he likes and probably tells about your preferences, place, hobby, ....
telling only a few things
- who I'am
- where I'am from
- why do I really like cinema / why do I really like working with filmmaking
- what do I think, how the network can help me
(in a way we should also refer not only to film but to internationality or different cultures or diversity, ...)
To have the opportunity to cut a secure version
- tell your statements at least twice, each with a different camera angle
To have a more being fun version (if it works)
- do another shot in which the speaker is for a while trying to adjust something on the camera while rolling (sharp / blurred, scratch on a glass which is in front of the camera, try aperture, or what ever comes to your mind, ...)
(in our opinion this would implement, on the one hand, we are used to the camera in a way, but on the other hand there are lots of things we have to learn within the workshops. to make them necessary.)
to make it easier to mix our messages
(for not having the boring version in which every of us is telling his story from the beginning to the end and the same the next)
meaning to be able to switch between the messages
- pause between your parts of the message
